Housing Development:

This was a brownfield former commercial site within a Conservation Area and alongside a Grade 2 Listed Building. A sensitively designed scheme for 9No houses respecting the historical context was granted detailed planning consent.

Household Extensions:

Detailed planning consent was granted for a rear and upward extension of a single storey building in a Conservation Area and within the zone of influence of a Grade 2 Star Listed Building.

New Apartments:

The client purchased a former Social Club on the edge of a city centre.

Planning permission was granted for a 16 storey building for 130No apartments.

Listed Building Consent:

Listed Building Consent was obtained for the sensitive conversion of a Grade 2 Listed Building to a 6No bedroom HMO accommodation.

Social Care:

The site was a former Methodist Church. Planning permission was obtained for the demolition and replacement with a six bedroom (Use Class C3b) for the care of people with highly complex disabilities.

Part Q Permitted Development:

This comprised of the conversion of a modern steel framed agricultural building to a large five bedroom 450sqm single dwelling.

Holiday Lodges/Glamping:

Planning permission was granted for 6No Holiday Lodges and 4No Glamping Tents.

This appeal was granted for a Live/Work unit in open countryside.

  • Hearing:

This comprised of a Part Q Barn Conversion that was refused on a point of planning law. It was proven at the Hearing that the barn conversion was  lawful and was granted permission.
